CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
VInYASA
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,”. This class focuses on the movement of poses connected by the breathe. The movements are smoothly flowing and dynamic. This class will give an added boost behind the flow for more strength and increase flexibility.
This class is offered on Thursdays at 4pm & 6pm and Fridays at 10am and Saturdays at 9:30am.
** Beginner Vinyasa is offered on Mondays at 5:30pm & Tuesday 4pm.
Gentle Flow
Gentle Flow is a class for those looking for the basic postures and soft movements with easy does it attitude that will stretch and revitalize the entire body. Beginner friendly.
This class is offered on Mondays at 7pm & Saturdays at 8am.
Elevate & Energize Vinyasa
This class is both dynamic and rejuvenating, leaving you feeling not only physically strong and flexible, but also glowing with a sense of inner radiance and vitality.
This class is offered on Thursdays at 9:30am.
Tone & Flow
The class will focus on strength training using light weights throughout a Vinyasa flow. The class will begin warming up with a gentle vinyasa flow free of weights to open up key areas of the body such as the back, legs, and arms.
Then we will use hand weights within a yoga sequence to increase functional strength and stability for the whole body. Towards the end of class, we will flow through a cool down to lengthen and stretch areas of the body worked, followed by savasana.
No previous experience with using weights is needed.
This class is also great for beginners looking to build functional strength within yoga postures while beginning their yoga journey!
This class is offered Tuesdasy at 6pm (starting Jan. 16th 2024) and Wednesdays at 4:00pm
Candlelight Mindful Flow
Beginner friendly class that is a gentler style of yoga practice that is at a slow pace with less intense poses that work on stretching and flexibility while incorporating meditation elements and the breath surrounded by candlelight with the use of signing bowls.
This class is offered on Wednesday nights at 6pm
Chair Yoga
*note* this class will resume back January 2025Discover the joy of movement and tranquility with our Gentle Chair Yoga class. Perfect for beginners and adults of all ages, this 60-minute session is designed to bring balance, flexibility, and relaxation into your life.
This class is done with use of chair and you start seated in the chair and move into poses for increasing flexibiity, balance and deep stretching all from using the chair.
A harmonious blend of relaxation and rejuvenation that promotes flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.
This class is offered on Mondays at 4pm
Stiffer Bodies
This is a slow pace class that focuses on mobilizing joints, restore energy, activating and stretching major muscle groups. This class is great for those with very tight bodies, and anyone on their way back from an injury wishing to practice yoga and slowly regain strength and flexibility.
This class is offered on Wednesdays at 10:15am & Saturaday at 11am.
Restorative YOga
This type of yoga consist of meditative breathing at the beginning of the class to integrate yourself into your practice. Then you will move your body for a nice warm up, and end on relaxing stretches to assist you in unwinding from your day.
Great for beginners or anyone looking to decompress and destress the mind and body. It is slow and gentle pace class.
This classes is offered on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm
Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
This serene journey combines this slow and gentle practice of Yin Yoga that involves holding passive stretches for extended period of time, promoting deep relaxation by targeting the connective tissues in the body.
Class ends with a yoga nidra which is a guided meditation and relaxation practice that induces a state of conscious sleep, promoting deep relaxation, stress reduction, and inner awareness.
The studio will be dimly lit to promote further relaxation.
This class is offered on every 1st Friday of the month.
